An Update on our Covid-19 Response
Family Resilience Group has moved its sessions currently to telehealth. We are having good success to date of getting insurance claims funded, but can’t guarantee that will continue. (You’ll want to check your own insurance policy for details here.) We are finding positive results – better than we may have expected – with this new way of connecting. We have trained as a staff, considered the advantages/disadvantages of this platform in our work and are ready for you.
We will be slower to return to the office, as we listen carefully to guidance from our county health department. While the choice to close the office to in-person visits was made practice-wide, opening is being approached differently. The decision to be in-person, given an existing level of risk, must feel safe to both client and therapist. We are having conversations with clients at the individual level about this choice. If you are in the office, our guidelines for safety are linked here. The safety guidelines are also posted in the office and will be sent to you if you and your therapist choose to meet in-person.
