Lindsay Calhoun

ANGELA DEMIKIS LCPC

About Lindsay:

Lindsay Calhoun is an emerging therapist, still finishing her requirements for licensing.  As such, she is able to slide her fee very deeply to make therapy affordable.

Lindsay believes that the role of a therapist is to help people feel empowered to address the challenges that life brings and to deepen one’s awareness of the self through the body. She practices this herself, bringing a grounded presence into the room.  Lindsay is training in the modalities of clinical mental health counseling, somatic experiencing, and dance movement therapy.  She works with clients of all ages and diagnoses, including ADHD, neurodiversity, mood swings, anxiety and depression.  Lindsay has walked many different paths in life in academia, law, and business and draws on her different life experiences to help clients feel heard and seen.  She deeply understands the stressors we carry in life.

In her spare time, she can be seen reading novels, walking her dog – Blue – in the forest, and practicing yoga and dance.

Lindsay’s Background:

  • Graduated with a BS in Psychology from the University of Pittsburgh in 2023
  • Graduated with a MSW in Clinical Social Work from Loyola University of Chicago in 2025
  • Currently undergoing Somatic Experience and Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics training
  • Completed internships as a group/individual therapist (VA) and a medical social worker
