Depression

Depression so often comes with a heaviness, a flatness. Getting motivated for life takes so much effort that at first, many of our clients arrive exhausted. Although they are ironically getting many hours of sleep a day, it’s not productive rest. It’s a more restless rest.

Our body-oriented interventions are intended to help our clients rest more productively. If you can rest more deeply, then you can actually feel more refreshed and energized. Rest and Restore Protocol can promote this deeper rest and release. From there, we’ll also work on finding natural internal cues that you want to be moving and to act on these impulses. We want to get you moving with the flow of life again.

We consider ourselves med conservative, but not at all med aversive. We work with outside psychiatrists and doctors, but don’t currently have one in-house. Meds are important to add energy, to calm anxiety and allow real rest, but our tools also intend for you to not be on meds as a lifelong habit. in-house with Family Resilience, communication is internal and seamless within the team supporting you.
