About Jill DeRose
LCSW, SEP
Jill DeRose
A 15-year veteran in the field of mental health, Jill believes deeply in the inherent dignity and worth of all people. She maintains an awareness of the realities in clients’ lives while also helping them settle into their own inner resource and knowing.
Jill’s approach to therapy is eclectic and informed by both her years of experience working in higher levels of care and her somatic lens. She brings a grounding and compassionate presence into the therapy room with her and supports her clients in slowing down and building awareness, in service of moving toward mindful, valued living.
Jill has worked with adults across a wide range of ages, lived experiences, and symptom presentations, including anxiety, depression, trauma, mood, grief, life transitions, family stress, and job challenges. Above all, she enlists the power of human connection within the therapy relationship to promote change and growth.
In her off-work hours, Jill is pursuing doctoral education to enhance her clinical knowledge and skill set. When not reading or writing for class, she may be found perusing the aisles of Trader Joe’s, taking long walks or bike rides, or enjoying a Friday night movie with her husband and stepdaughter.
